Jennifer Cha, DMD, MS, DICOI, DADIA, is the President of the Dental Implant Institute of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a Fellow and Diplomat of the International Board of Oral Implantologists, one of only three dentists in Las Vegas to be awarded this esteemed honor.
A Las Vegas resident for over 30 years, Dr. Cha graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Washington University School of Dentistry. She has extensive post-graduate experience, as she has completed both a master’s degree in oral biology and a certificate in periodontics at Northwestern University Dental School.
Dr. Cha utilizes her expertise in dental implants - both surgical and restorative - and full mouth reconstruction regarding complicated dental implant cases, to offer the most advanced care to her patients through a revolutionary procedure that combines five surgeries into one that is less invasive, less painful, with less healing time, and the highest rate of success.
Dr. Cha is also an accomplished cosmetic periodontal plastic surgeon. Her peers voted her a top periodontist and the best female dentist in Las Vegas, according to The 215 South, the Las Vegas Life, and The Summerlin magazines.
Outside of running her busy practice, Dr. Cha is active in several charitable organizations based in Las Vegas. For instance, she is a Gold Level sponsor for the American Heart Association and contributes generously to the Diabetes Foundation and the AIDS Foundation. She is on the advisory board of Clark High School, her alma mater, for AMSAT, a math and science program for advanced students.
Dr. Cha also is a sponsor of the 4 Christ Mission, which has been able to build and support several orphanages in Mexico through her patronage.
Dr. Cha’s work has been published in numerous scientific journals and received the Rear Admiral Kevin F. Delaney’s “Keeping America Strong” award presented by William Shatner.
Dr. Cha also is on the advisory board of The 1st National Bank of Nevada, is a Medical Advisor for Your Health Magazine, and helps peer review the Journal of Periodontology.
In August 2012, Dr. Cha was awarded by the Minister of Health and the President in Honduras for her Global Oral Health Initiative and Efforts.
